SHORT SCENIC CIRCUIT
Traditional and almost mandatory trip for every person that visits our town. It starts skirting Lake Nahuel Huapi and it covers a distance of about 65 km.

MOUNT CATEDRAL
It is the most important winter sports center in South America. It features 600 hectares of skiing slopes and an excellent infrastructure that offers 39 chair lifts.

MOUNT TRONADOR AND BLACK GLACIER
At the foot of Mount Tronador you can walk along a trail up to “Garganta del Diablo”, an impressive waterfall that drags melted ice and that is surrounded by rocky walls. It does not have any chair lifts. At the top you can see eternal snow.

SEVEN LAKES-SAN MARTIN DE LOS ANDES-
World famous trip, well-known for the incredible beauty of the Andean Patagonian Forests and with natural viewpoints to lakes and rivers that will make you discover our National Parks.

EL BOLSON
Leaving Bariloche behind and driving southwards, you will get to the Comarca Andina of Parallel 42. On the way, you will enjoy the sights of Lakes Gutiérrez, Mascardi and Guillelmo. After 130 Km. you will get to Bolsón, a picturesque town situated in the south-west of Rio Negro Province, just on the frontier with Chubut Province.

HISTORICAL STEAM TRAIN
The trip will take you back in time.  You will travel on a historical steam train that dates from 1912 and which was got to work again keeping its authentic features.

LA TROCHITA - EL BOLSON
This small and cozy historical train has traveled along the lands of Patagonia for more than fifty years. It has become a living museum. It is affectionately called “La Trochita” by the settlers.
